Common Sandpipers

Comon Sandpipers are sumer visitors to Nairnshire.  They are solitary birds and are identifiable by their sharp 'pipping' call.  They fly low over water with very quick wing-beats and sit on rocks at the shore, often wagging their tail.  They are regular visitors to Lochindorb and can be seen from the roadside quite easily.  Here's one from Sunday.
