There are loads of winter thrushes around at the moment. Keep checking the trees as small flocks of them fly into the garden. They appear hesitant as they fly overhead looking for a perch, then crowd in to a tree. If you have berries on your trees - particularly Rowan trees - they will love your garden!

The first photo shows what they look like from a distance (Redwing and fieldfare). The second and third photos show how lovely the redwing is on closer inspection.
