A regular (well, fairly regular!) update on the birding exploits of two far from expert, but very enthusiastic birders in Sunny Nairn, on the coast of The Moray Firth. Welcome to Kate and Seamus' personal blog!

Reflections around the Harbour.
A stroll around the harbour and over the Bailey Bridge can always uncover some delights, no matter the time of year. A regular visitor is the the Grey Wagtail below - named after its grey back (although with all that yellow it's easy to want to call it a Yellow Wagtail!), the latter is in fact predominantly yellow, and would be a real rare spot if you happened to see one around Nairn.
And when the water is so clear, the reflections make for a good photo opportunity!
Finally - when the sun shines so low at this time of the year, it casts a good shadow too!
