Waxwings Revisited

Thanks to the comments and pointers to where to see the Waxwings.  The Nairn Dunbar Golf Course seems to be the best place, or so it was up until a couple of days ago.

I managed to get a few more pictures.  I try to make the most of these visitors: they must be the most colourful of the smaller birds that visit these isles - it makes a change form our own 'little brown jobs'.  That's why I've been up and down the Lochloy Road so many times over the past few days!

Please let me know if you see them anywhere else.

Happy New Year - and here's to another great year of birdwatching in Nairn!
