Thanks to Bob Towns for this great picture of one of the four Waxwings that visited his garden last week. There was also a small flock of around 20 in Elgin and Cummingston this afternoon - so keep your eyes open around the streets and gardens of Nairn. You could perch some old apples on a branch, this just may entice a passing flock into your garden. If you're lucky enough have them visit, they will often sit and pose for photos like the one below.

ReplyDeleteHi - last year I saw them on the trees around the Maggott changing area, in very large numbers. So you never know.....!
